About Nancy
I received my Bachelor of Music in French Horn performance from The Cleveland Institute of Music, and had an enjoyable life as a gigging musician and private teacher for 15 years. I currently hold the position of Senior Audio Producer for a nationally known radio program. And I love working with fiber! Knitting from the age of 4, it wasn’t until 2004 that I learned how to do handspinning, and then handweaving in 2008.
I create unique contemporary handwoven art and wearables on the drawloom by playing with materials, designs, and concepts, enabling me to move outside the box of traditional damask weaving. In addition to my one-of-a-kind pieces on the drawloom, I also create and weave home textiles on a limited-run basis, where I focus on classic styling with a streak of fun.
